RELEASED AUG 29, 2025 - Dirty Wasabi follow up Home and Making U Smile with their third single Benbow, out Friday 30 August. Dark, heavy, and hook-driven, the track builds on the band’s fast-growing reputation for big riffs and bigger energy. Benbow is about that eerie sense of impending doom—the unsettling feeling that something is coming, but you don’t know what. It’s the shadow that hangs over even a great life, with the chorus striking like a warning: “They’ve come for you.” The track was recorded at Melbourne’s iconic Hothouse Studios with Craig Harnath (Jet, Airbourne, Motor Ace). This release follows a breakout winter for Dirty Wasabi: airplay across more than a dozen community stations nationwide, coverage in outlets including Happy Mag and Scenestr, and their biggest hometown set to date supporting Australian legends You Am I at the Barwon Heads Hotel.
